Seeing as we were heading to Nashville from the UK for my husband's surprise 30th birthday trip, I couldn't let his birthday pass without a cake to celebrate the occasion!
As I wanted something special for his 30th, I contacted many bakeries around the Nashville area, and Julie was the first to get back to me a few hours after I'd inquired on her website (despite the 6 hour time difference). I gave her a few ideas about and design for the cake, and Julie was able to offer guidance and advice about what designs would work or offer an alternative.
Throughout the whole process, Julie was a pleasure to work with - always responsive to emails and helpful with any questions I had. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made everything easy.
When we collected the cake, we couldn't believe how amazing it looked! It was everything I had envisioned and more! The attention to detail was incredible, and it really showed off how talented Julie is at what she does! We had so many positive comments from our friends and family about the cake after we'd posted it online too! I'm pleased to say it tasted as good as it looked (even if we didn't want to eat it as it looked so wonderful).
I would certainly recommend Julie if you need anything cake related, and I have no doubt that if we lived in Tennessee we would use Julie for all of our baked needs! If we find ourselves back in Nashville and need any cakes, we know who we'll contact first!
We can't thank Julie enough for giving my husband's birthday that extra special touch with the most incredible birthday cake!
